Egatel shows in 2009 Broadcast edition major developments in a continuous technological evolution highlighting the new range of 300Wrms amplifiers, AE9301 model; the MTD5000 DVB-T/H microtransmitter, series, and the MRR5000 DVB-T/H regenerative microtransposers series. - The new model range 300Wrms Amplifiers AE9301, has been designed using the most advanced LDMOS transistors technology, characterized by a very high efficiency. These amplifiers are housed in 3U 19" frame and integrates power supplies, and renew the Egatel medium and high power transmitters range, offering cost-effective solutions for power of 300W, 600W and 1200W (1, 2 or 4 amplifiers respectively). It is noteworthy the high compaction degree achieved, as well as the improvements in electrical efficiency. The design of this new series is accompanied by the TE9000E5 DVB-T/H exciter/modulator model (evolution of the current TDE9000-E3), and by the CCU9000 Control Unit for N+1 redundancy systems. - The MTD5000 DVB-T/H microtransmitter series, in a single module design with dimensions of 262x250x45 mm is the most compact solution for low power (1W-5W) digital transmitters worlwide, allowing configurations of up to 7 modules in 19” with power supply and control unit shared. As an option, Egatel presents a solution for GPS, GPS4 model in 1U 19", redundant power supply and 8 PPS and 10MHz outputs. Egatel also shows an ASI switching control unit in 1U 19" and a RF switching unit (up to 5W) also integrated in a 1U 19", allowing N+1 solutions. - The MRR5000 DVB-T/H regenerative microtransposer series, in a single module design, is able to regenerate the original signal demodulating and modulating the RF signal, appearing as the most compact solution for low power (1W-5W) regenerative microtransposers for fully DTT deployment in MFN networks, allowing configurations of up to 7 modules in 19” with power supply and control unit shared, common to all the 5000 series equipment.
